The NYSAT project was made possible through the hard work and dedication of over a 100 artists, activists, photographers, videographers, lawyers, mothers, fathers, students, teachers, and public citizens. It should be noted that between the two NYSAT projects, 9 people were arrested spending a total of 310 hours in jail collectively. Despite all cases being dismissed, we still cannot thank these participants enough for their sacrifice. We not only hope that everyone had a great time, but that they came away from the project with the knowledge that they can positively effect their environment and create the city they want by directly altering the spaces that they live in. In fact we hope that this project makes it clear that it is in fact the responsibility of all public citizens to do just that.
