The Boys Room 2004 : publicadcampaign

The Boys Room was a collaboration with FLY Magazine and consisted of a 7 page story/art piece. Each page in the story was developed from a photo taken in a bar bathroom in NYC that had an Insight advertisement. These photos were then converted to a full layout and each page of the layout was then reinstalled in the bar bathrooms the night before the issue release. The text which ran through the layout described the entire project and could be used to find each installation that resulted. It should be noted that this was the first time I had installed work in a private space, although it is my opinion that bar bathrooms are semi-public spaces.
