The Subway Series began in December of 2000 and continued until July of 2001. Each project took over an entire subways station with a single image and tallied between 32 and 96 individual posters. By removing every advertisement in the station, these pieces used design to calm the subway environment for riders by removing the overwhelming noise of commercial media from these spaces.
