After the devastating removal of nearly 75% of the initial Paper Champion project from the streets of New York within 3 hours of their installation, I was angry to say the least. I quickly began interviews outside of the Scope Art Fair to gather peoples reactions to these events in hopes that I might turn the project around and create something positive out of the loss. The result was the Paper Champion Revisited gallery installation at 3 Legged Dog. Here some 84 advertisements taken from the streets adorned the floor along with video and audio of interviews conducted after the projects removal, As well as a reproduction of my gallery space. A single phonebooth installation was put up outside of the gallery along with an aggressive blood splatter following its removal that indicated my feelings about the whole sordid affair.
